I have a great deal of experience in academic settings, primarily while a student at Southern Illinois University in the Therapeutic Recreation program. I have had a great deal of interaction with residence life as a Graduate Assistant with SIU Disability Support Services to increase independence and resolve mobility impediments for students with disabilities on campus. This position allowed me to interact with many facets of University operations, while managing caseload responsibilities.
During my studies, I have also participated in numerous counseling, teaching, and otherwise therapeutic activities that have prepared me to develop communication, coordination, and programming skills. I believe would become an asset to your institution.
