My experience consists of four great years in the Online Entertainment industry where I helped engineer and maintain what was, at the time, the #1 Massively Multi-Player Online video game. The next two years I spent as the IT Director of a very successful E-Learning company where I helped both harden their enterprise and streamline many of their daily IT tasks.
Immediately after the E-Learning company I started with a Mortgage Corporation that was both a Fortune 100 company and also the #1 Mortgage lender in this industry until the housing market crashed. The previous company was (thankfully) purchased by Bank of America (BAC). This acquisition makes BAC the nation's largest commercial bank, leading mortgage originator and servicer controlling around 25% of the home loan market.
So far my role has not changed. My time is spent helping engineer a system that looks for high and low enterprise capacity constraints that range from CPU and Disk I/O to SAN and Virtual infrastructure.
